Privacy policy

This policy covers the Yamie Floral Studio operational apps (Yamie Studio, Yamie Driver, Yamie Fulfilment, Yamie Supplier), our order-tracking links, and the systems behind them. These are business tools used by our team and partners to prepare and deliver flower orders.

What we collect and why

• Order details. Names, delivery addresses, phone numbers, and gift messages that customers provide when placing an order. Used solely to prepare, deliver, and support that order.
• Driver location. While a delivery run is active, the Yamie Driver app shares the driver's live position with our studio so we can coordinate deliveries and give customers accurate arrival estimates. Location sharing is tied to the working run; it is not used to track drivers outside of deliveries.
• Photos. Our team photographs finished arrangements and deliveries (proof of delivery). These document the order and may be shared with the customer who placed it.
• Device push tokens. Used only to send operational alerts (new orders, delivery updates) to team devices.
• Link analytics. When a customer opens their private tracking link we record that it was viewed (device type and an anonymised network identifier; never the raw address) so our team can confirm the update reached them.

What we don't do

• We do not sell personal information, and we do not use it for advertising.
• We do not share personal information with third parties except the service providers that run our systems (hosting, database, push delivery), who process it on our instructions.
• The apps do not access contacts, messages, or files beyond the photos and downloads the user explicitly chooses.

Retention and your rights

Order records are kept for as long as we need them for business and legal purposes, in line with the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA). You may ask us to access, correct, or delete personal information we hold about you.
